When you stay in one of our properties, you also receive the convenience of our hospitality team that is ready to transform your travels into an unforgettable experience. From in-home amenities like Pre-arrival Grocery Delivery and Private Chefs to unique experiences like Sailing Excursion and Beach Bonfire + S’mores, our concierge team is available to create a personalized itinerary of the best San Diego has to offer.
 

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to San Diego - your greeter will be at the house to meet you at 4pm the day of your arrival. 

Please let us know if you will be arriving by air or car and provide your flight information in the event you may be delayed.  

Airport or Touring Transportation

Our discreet chauffeurs and private cars are ideal for those who want to subtly travel in style. Transportation to and from the San Diego Airport is approximately $115 plus 20% gratuity.  LAX to La Jolla is about $355 plus 20% gratuity and toll/parking fees as applicable.  

Our chauffeurs are also experienced and entertaining tour guides for wineries in Temecula or San Diego.

Street Legal Golf Cart Rental

A four person cart is approximately $135 per day with a $40 delivery and pickup charge. Additional seating and upgrades are available.

Equipment Rental 

For any home larger than 2 bedrooms, there are 4 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas and a cooler at the house for your use,  Smaller homes have 2 beach chairs and 1 umbrella plus a cooler. We can assist with rental of a beach wagon, pack and play, crib, bed rails, sand toys and more  for the Littles.  

Groceries

You are welcome to send us your grocery list and we will shop and put everything away before you arrive.  

Quantity, brand, organic preference and possible substitutions are helpful.

Restaurants
You can find our grocery and restaurant recommendations in your guest portal on Happy Stays.  

You should have received login instructions separate from your booking confirmation email.  

We are happy to help with reservations or providing more information on best food, best view, best local favorites, etc.
 

If You Are Staying in One of our Villas in La Jolla Shores
You are walking distance from great restaurants right there in La Jolla Shores:  Piatti’s is one of our best Italian restaurants. Also in the Shores is a great little sushi place, a favorite for Mexican take out, The Cheese Shop for the best sandwiches ever (been there forever), The Shore House Grill (breakfast) and The Shore Rider (burgers and beer). Barbarella’s also is a popular local place for brunch and lunch.
 

Personal Chef Services
We have a variety of personal chefs available for our guests.  It usually runs about $120 per person plus cost of groceries.  Our professional chefs are amazing (personally vetted) and can customize any menu.  I do recommend getting your dates secured if you are interested in this.  We will need to know adult/child count, any dietary restrictions or allergies and cuisine preferences.

Massage
In home massage can be arranged starting at $150 per person for 60 minutes and $200 for 90 minutes.  Price varies depending on type of massage ($10 extra), weekend or holiday ($25 extra) and there may be a charge for parking/toll/gas. All are licensed, insured and trained to meet your professional massage needs. All equipment will be sanitized prior to  your appointment and massage therapists will wear a mask if requested. Weekend rates begin on Friday at 6pm-Sunday at 9pm.
 

Catamaran Private Sails
As a general estimate, a 2 hour midweek sail is about $2,093 including port and marina fees. (Friday – Sun $2,354)  A 3 hour tour midweek is approximately $3,139.  Weekend sails are more expensive.  For catering, depending on menu items and quantity, it runs about $480, not including beverage service or gratuity. Several award winning caterers are used for menus and the options vary greatly.  If you are interested in pursuing this, let us know your preferred date and some idea of what you would like served for appetizers and drinks and we can give you a more accurate quote.
 

Kayak & Snorkeling Tours / Surfing Lessons / Paddleboards / Whale Watching Tours
For water sports, per person starts at $78.  Contact us for pricing of group vs. private lessons and tours.
 

Picnic on the Beach
Locations on La Jolla Shores and La Jolla Cove areas, BOHO style on the ground or traditional table setting, includes signature charcuterie grazing board, Spindrift sodas, Boxed Water is Better, décor, lanterns, candles, fresh flowers and greenery, garlands and place settings.  

Starting at 1 hour for 2 people $310 and up to 24 people for 2 hours at $105 per person.
 

Beach Bonfire and S’mores
Beach firepit with stand, wood for 3 hours, 2 tiki torches, 4 Adirondack chairs, s’mores, delivery & setup, pickup and ash removal starting at  $265 with locations in La Jolla Shores, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach and Coronado.  Add ons available for an extra charge.
